Lina Arustamyan receives the Talenta Award 2026
Congratulations to our VGSF student and QFin alumna, Lina Arustamyan, on receiving the Talenta Award 2026 for her outstanding Master’s thesis, supervised by VGSF Program Director Alexander Mürmann.
Presented annually by WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and the City of Vienna, the Talenta Awards recognize exceptional Bachelor’s and Master’s theses for excellence, social relevance, accessibility, and diversity.
Lina’s award-winning research explores how entrepreneurs can strategically communicate with investors under uncertainty. Using Bayesian persuasion, Q-learning, and social learning models, her findings show that targeted information disclosure can outperform full transparency, leading to faster financing and better alignment of investor beliefs.
A well-deserved recognition. Congratulations, Lina!
