Welcome Giuditta Perinelli

We are pleased to welcome Giuditta Perinelli, who joins the VGSF as a visiting student.

Giuditta is a fifth-year PhD candidate in Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Her research interests include macro-finance, corporate finance, banking, and behavioral finance.

She is visiting WU to work with Austrian administrative data for her job market paper, which studies the corporate debt moratorium implemented in Austria during COVID-19. The project focuses on understanding how firms used the liquidity freed up by the policy and why the take-up rate was relatively low, despite the moratorium being essentially a “free lunch.”
