Thi Thuy Dung Phung

Dung received her bachelor’s degree in economics from Colorado State University in 2014. After three years in her role as a management consultant at Ernst & Young Vietnam and completing the CFA program, Dung decided to pursue an academic career. She attended the Master in Management program at the University of Mannheim, during which she concentrated on deepening her knowledge of various areas of finance and improving her research skills by working as a research assistant with the Chair of Finance. Her master’s thesis examines the impact of nominal stock prices on return volatility and investor attention.

Dung’s main research interest is empirical asset pricing, with a special focus on incorporating factors that represent mispricing into asset pricing models.
