Saman obtained his Bachelor degree as well as his Master of Science degree from Bocconi University in Milan. During this period he completed an exchange program at The University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Business and Economics, visited UCLA's Anderson School of Management, and he also worked as a private equity intern in Milan. His Master of Science degree focused on financial economics and was completed in 2016. Afterwards, Saman worked as a research assistant both at Bocconi University and at the Politecnico di Milano, focusing on empirical corporate finance issues. He also worked for two years as teaching assistant for the Corporate Finance course of the Master of Science in Finance at Bocconi University.
