I will be available for interviews at the ASSA Annual Meeting in Atlanta, January 4-6, 2019.
My research interests include capital regulation and risk management, risk shifting, catastrophe insurance.
I was born in Vilnius where I received a bachelor degree in Economics at Vilnius University and started my career in the leading non-life insurance company as an underwriter and later – as a portfolio manager.
During the career-break I sought for a master degree in Finance at Tilburg University. In my Master thesis I analyzed the lead-lag relationship between sovereign CDS and stock indexes in the light of Greek debt crisis. I graduated with the Cum Laude diploma in 2012.
In my free time I like travelling, climbing and attending art exhibitions.
