Clemens Wagner

Clemens graduated cum laude from the master’s program in Finance and Accounting at WU Vienna, where he had also earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration earlier. With his bachelor’s thesis analysing Quantitative Easing programs of the Fed, the ECB and the BoE during the Financial Crisis, and his master’s thesis about banks‘ ratings of sovereign bond portfolios, he deepened his understanding of the banking sector, its macroeconomic role and potential systemic risks stemming from it. His research interests also include corporate finance (capital structure, maturity choice, payout policy), corporate governance and the impact of ETFs on market efficiency. In his spare time he likes to read, DJ and play football or snooker.
