WU City of Vienna Best Paper Award for Christian Laux

Con­grat­u­la­tions to Chris­tian Laux, Pro­fessor of Fin­ance and VGSF Fac­ulty mem­ber. He has been awar­ded the WU City of Vi­enna Best Pa­per Award 2019. In an ex­ternal ref­eree pro­cess, con­duc­ted by the WWTF, his pa­per “The Ad­verse Ef­fect of In­form­a­tion on Gov­ernance and Lever­age” (joint with Gyöngyi Lóránth and Alan D. Mor­rison, Man­age­ment Science 64(4), 2018, 1510–1527.) was ranked #1 in the “Cat­egory 1: Quant­it­at­ive-Ana­lyt­ical or The­or­et­ical Work”

The award ce­re­mony will take place on Novem­ber 6th, 2019 at the WU Cam­pus, Build­ing LC, Ce­re­mony Hall 1.
