Alex Mürmann appointed co-Editor-in-Chief of The Geneva Risk and Insurance Review

Alexander Mürmann, Professor for Risk Management and Insurance at the WU-Department of Finance, Accounting and Statistics and Program Director of the Vienna Graduate School of Finance (VGSF), has been appointed as new co-Editor-in-Chief of The Geneva Risk and Insurance Review as of January 2019. The Geneva Risk and Insurance Review is the academic journal of the European Group of Risk and Insurance Economists (EGRIE) and the Geneva Association (GA). It publishes original research that advances our understanding of the economics of risk and insurance. Published twice a year this international journal provides a forum for the exchange of academic findings and views on all aspects of risk and insurance economics, with emphasis on theoretical, empirical and experimental research in these fields.

EGRIE was founded in 1973 by the Geneva Association, the leading international think tank of the insurance industry. EGRIE is dedicated to promoting research and creating a network of academics doing research on risk and insurance. This is achieved through the publication of the The Geneva Risk and Insurance Review and the organisation of scientific conferences and meetings. The annual EGRIE conference has evolved into one of the most important conference in insurance economics.
