Haas Marlene
Marlene Haas was born in Wilhelmshaven, Germany,
and studied Economics at the University of Freiburg with a specialization in
financial management and financial markets and econometrics.
In her thesis, she
explored the concept of crowding with respect to quantitative hedge funds and
market liquidity.
In the last two years of her studies, Marlene worked as a research assistant
for a project about
price formation at historical stock exchanges with Professor Thomas Gehrig,
Ph.D. (University of Vienna) and Professor Caroline Fohlin, Ph.D. (John Hopkins
University).
Besides her research work, Marlene enjoys running, hiking, and sailing.
