General Information:

I entered the Electrical Engineering programme of the Sharif
University of Technology, Tehran and later switched into Industrial
Engineering. I also obtained my MBA from the same university. Having a
deep interest in social science and economics I studied IHS programme
of economics too. I have experienced several consulting and management
training activities including an 18 month position in the HQ of UNIDO,
Vienna. My research interests are broad. I have done (continuing)
researches on shareholders voting games and dividend policy. Moreover,
I am planning to do researches on financial derivatives and interaction
of IO/finance as well as financial markets in the developing countries.
I enjoy spending my spare time for reading in philosophy and literature
plus writing in my weblog (the most popular Iranian economic/finance
weblog) and as a columnist for Iranian newspapers. For the time being I
am the coordinator of IHS/VGSF movie group. |
